No Show / Cancellation Policy

 

  • To cancel or reschedule an appointment you MUST provide 24 business hours' notice or you will incur a full charge for the appointment.
  • If you miss an appointment, you will incur a full charge for the appointment.
  • To cancel or reschedule an appointment either email appointments@piedmontpsych.com or call our appointment line at 864-676-9211 ext. 125 between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday through Thursday.
  • For psychiatric care or medication management to be helpful, it is very important that you keep all appointments.
  • Consistently attending follow-up appointments will provide the maximum treatment benefit. A missed appointment delays our work and progress.

  • Wellcare (PPO only and Dr. Smith only)

Payments
  • Copays, coinsurance and deductibles are due at the time of service.  Copays, coinsurance and deductibles not paid at the time of service will incur a $15 non-payment fee.
  • As a courtesy, we will file up to 2 insurances.
  • Returned checks will incur a $30 returned check fee.

Contact our medical records department by emailing triddle@piedmontpsych.com or calling  864-676-9211 ext 126 Monday - Thursday between 8am and 4pm to request any of these forms or records:

There is a variable charge associated with records/form requests.

Medication Policy
  • Prescription refills will be provided only during regularly scheduled business hours and never on weekends, holidays or after business hours.
  • Lost or stolen medications will not be filled under any circumstances.
